How Do I Buy?
It’s as easy as – Preview – Purchase – Download! Just Preview the sounds by clicking the play button, Purchase the sounds by clicking on the buy button and proceed through checkout to complete your order. Once your order has been processed you will automatically receive an email with a link to Download your new sounds instantly.

What Forms Of Payment Do You Accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We currently do not accept Pay Pal, money orders or electronic checks.

Drum Sounds

What Format Are The Drum Sounds In?
All of our drum sounds are in the 44.1/16bit .wav format.

What Programs Can I Use The Sounds In?
Any hardware sampler, software sampler or audio program that can play or import a .wav file can be used. The number of programs is to long to list.

How Can I Use These Drum Sounds?
The original purchaser can use the drum sounds in combination with other sounds or elements within their musical composition. You can release such compositions commercially royalty-free with no license fees to pay.

What Can’t I Use The Sounds For?
You cannot sell, rent, loan or gift these drum sounds in isolation. You cannot use the sounds to create another commercially released music library, sample library or construction kit.

Groove Templates

What Is Quantization?
Quantization is the process most DAW’s use to adjust the start times of midi notes or audio clips so that they line up according to an evenly spaced timing grid

What Is Groove Quantization?
Groove Quantization allows for the movement of midi notes or audio clips based on a “user” defined timing grid. This allows you to change the timing of your music, so that it feels like it was created on an ASR-10 or MPC. Most DAW’s have implemented a groove template feature in their programs.

How Do I Use The “Groove-Quantized” Midi Files?
The Groove-Quantized Midi Files are imported into your DAW of choice (ProTools-Logic-Sonar-etc.) then used to create your own “user defined” groove templates, which you then apply to your own music.

What Format Are The “Groove-Quantized” Midi Files In?
All of our Groove-Quantized midi files are in the Type 0 (single track) Standard Midi File format, so they can be used cross platform Mac/Pc

What Programs Can I Use The “Groove-Quantized” Midi Files In?
Any program that can create groove templates from midi files, including
ProTools – Logic - Cubase – Sonar – Nuendo – Digital Performer – Guru – Reason

Free Sounds

How long do I need to wait to get my free sounds?
Unique passwords and download instructions are usually emailed within 60 seconds of requesting a free preview kit.

I did not receive my password or download instructions?
Please check your Spam Filter (Junk Mail Filter) it may be hiding there. If it is, make sure you add sounds@remixtoolkit.com to your address book or safe list. If not, contact us and we will send it again.

My Password Expired Now What?
Your password will automatically expire 24hrs after you requested your free preview kit. If you find that your password has expired or you need more time to download just let us know.

My password is not being accepted in the Download Area?
Some anti-virus programs prevent users from entering information into online forms. Try turning off any anti-virus programs for a moment, then enter your password and download your sounds.

Can I use the free preview kits in my commercial recordings?
The short answer is yes. However, while the preview kit is free in cost, the sounds themselves are bound by the same terms of use as any purchased sample library. Please review the complete terms of use included in your download to be sure.
